Complete New Build House – In Progress
Mastertek are proud to have been contracted a very specialist new build project. A complete newly built house where we have had the opportunity to showcase a diverse range of our building works and skills.
The house has been built from scratch on a corner plot of land in a prestigious road in Finchley, North London. The house that stood there previously had been completely demolished to make way for our clients dream home.
Before we commenced any works, we worked closely with the architects and client to plan the build and create a schedule. We always regard time and schedule planning as one of the most important aspects of our works.
We began by excavating the foundations to provide a solid base for the new property to be built upon. From laying the bricks right up to the roof, all necessary internal and external works we completed the whole project in it’s entirety.
From the photos you will see the fabulous intricate brickwork including corner brick quoin details. The window arches and reveals were completed in a different brick colour from the main house which really make them stand out as a feature and added character to the property.
The roof structure is completely new with single cambered tiles, Velux rooflights to the pitched sides, specialist flat roof lights to the roof crown and specially made to order GRP dormer windows. All allowing an immense amount of light to flood in creating a look of space in an already large loft.
We have had a lot of positive feedback from not only our client’s and the architects we work with but also with potential new clients in the area. We are very proud to have been offered this contract and to have completed it to such a high specification for our client.
